Ankenman Associates Architects Inc. (AAAI) was established in 1980.  Since its inception the firm has practiced throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, Washington State and California undertaking a variety of successful float home projects involving both the private and public sectors.  Architectural commissions have included residential, education, recreation, health care, institutional, commercial and hospitality projects.  AAAI is located in Crescent Beach, near White Rock, B.C. on the Washington State border.

AAAI is one of the larger and more diverse architectural practices.  Our services extend from programming and master planning phases through all portions of design, interior design, construction, and post-occupancy analysis.  AAAI has the commitment, creativity, and expertise to ensure every project's successful completion.

While the mainstay of our business is larger projects AAAI has always welcomed opportunities to design custom floating private residences.  In the early 80's we were fortunate to be involved with the first strata titled floating home community in Canada - Canoe Pass, a development of 43 homes developed by IMF.  Since that time we have completed over 40 floating homes, and a half a dozen floating commercial structures.  All have incorporated the floating technology developed by IMF.

We have many designs for float homes available, or would be pleased to work with you on a custom design.
